Selin obtained her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University in 2017 and then joined our group. She is studying the genomic variation of seasonality. She is aiming to understand the mechanism behind seasonality and adaptation and for this purpose, she tries to find genomic variation by comparing whole genome data of the populations of Drosophila melanogaster that are collected different time points of the year.
